What was the highlight of Royal Hotel Seoul
This was our first hotel on our trip to South Korea. We think we made the perfect choice as we had a lovely stay there.
This hotel had by far the most comfortable beds. It was in a perfect position for travelling around the area and the market was on its door step but once inside the hotel it was an oasis of calm. The breakfast was also very nice and the staff were lovely.
Everything was lovely. No negatives.

Lovely staff, very helpful. Great location close to metro easy to get about. Not far from bars and restaurants. Good size room and very comfortable. Lovely breakfast worth having it included, good value.

Convenient but crammed stay
Right at the entrance of a big touristy area, it is quite conveniently located and a good spring board to reach the tourist attractions nearby. The hotel was nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. If you book in advance, the pricing can be quite competitive.
I was a big surprised by the room which was far smaller than the picture led on, and in addition a chair had been crammed in as well that almost made it impossible to get around the bed. At least there was a wardrobe to hang up clothes and store the luggage. But the bed took up the entire room, I could hardly pull out the chair at the desk. Also the room design seemed a bit more dated than what the pictures suggested and we had a view out to the back that was pretty meh. If you care about a nice view better upgrade the room category.
